Stress is like energetic debris—it clings to your nervous system, your muscles, and your aura. If you don’t actively clear it, it builds up over time, leaving you feeling ungrounded, disconnected, and depleted. The good news? You can reset your energy—quickly.

Think about it: Every difficult conversation, frustrating situation, or overwhelming moment leaves an imprint in your body, mind, and energy field. If you don’t clear it, it sticks around, affecting your mood, your sleep, and even your physical health.
Signs your energy needs a reset:
✨You feel mentally foggy or emotionally drained

❤️ How to Recalibrate Your Energy After a Stressful Day ❤️
🌿 1. Shake Off the Energy
One of the fastest ways to clear stuck, heavy energy is through movement. Stress gets stored in your nervous system, and your body needs a way to physically release it.
Try this:
✨Stand up and shake your entire body for 1-2 minutes—literally shake out your hands, arms, legs, and torso. (It might feel silly at first, but it works!)
✨Dance it out—put on a song that lifts your mood and move however your body wants.
✨If you’re feeling stuck emotionally, jump up and down for 30 seconds to break up the energy.
The key? Move with the intention of releasing the day from your body.
🌿 2. Get Grounded
After a stressful day, your energy is often scattered—your mind is racing, emotions are heightened, and your nervous system is overstimulated. Grounding anchors you back into your body and resets your energy field.
Try this:

✨Step outside barefoot and stand on the grass or soil for a few minutes. Feel the earth pulling stress out of your body.
✨Hold a grounding crystal like black tourmaline, shungite, or hematite (I love using grounding sleep tools—check out my favorites here and here).
✨Visualize roots growing from your feet deep into the earth, releasing all stress and tension downward.
🌿3. Breathe It Out
Your breath is one of the most powerful tools for shifting your state in seconds. Stress triggers shallow breathing, keeping you stuck in fight-or-flight mode. Deep, intentional breathing signals your body to relax.
Try this:
✨4-4-8 breathing: Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat at least 5 times.
✨Sigh it out: Take a deep inhale, and audibly sigh on the exhale. This physically releases stress from your nervous system.
🌿4. Take a “Water Reset”
Water has the ability to cleanse energy—physically and energetically. If you’re feeling heavy or tense, a simple water ritual can help you reset.
Try this:
✨Take a salt bath (Epsom salt + baking soda + your favorite essential oils) to pull tension and stress from your body. If a bath isn’t an option, take a mindful shower. As the water flows over you, visualize stress melting off of you and swirling down the drain.
✨Drink a full glass of structured water with the intention of recharging your cells. Water holds energy—so set a conscious intention as you drink.
🌿5. Clear Your Energy with Sound Healing

Sound healing is one of my go-to methods for shifting my energy fast. Sound frequencies break up stagnant energy patterns in your field, restoring balance.
Try this:

✨If you have singing bowls, tuning forks, or even just your voice, use sound to cleanse your space. Humming, chanting, or even playing uplifting music can shift your frequency in seconds.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is one of the fastest ways to release stress and shift into calm. By tapping on specific meridian points while affirming release, you send a signal to your nervous system that it’s safe to relax.
Try this:
✨Tap on the side of your hand and say:
"Even though today was stressful, I deeply love and accept myself. I release all tension from my body and energy field. I am safe, I am calm, and I am at peace."
✨Continue tapping on the meridian points (eyebrow, side of eye, under eye, etc.) while affirming release and relaxation.
