Today, we're diving deep into something that holds so many of us back from living our fullest, most empowered lives—limiting beliefs. These sneaky, often unconscious thoughts shape how we see ourselves, the world, and what we believe is possible for us. But here’s the thing: they’re not real. They’re simply stories we’ve told ourselves or absorbed from others, and it’s time to break free from them so you can fully step into your power.
Limiting beliefs are like invisible chains. They quietly hold you down, stopping you from reaching your true potential, from achieving your dreams, and from becoming the empowered, abundant being you are meant to be. But the good news? You can overcome them. And today, I’m going to show you how.
What Are Limiting Beliefs?

Limiting beliefs are the thoughts and stories you hold deep in your mind that tell you what’s possible for you—or more often, what’s not possible. These are the beliefs that keep you playing small, that whisper, “You’re not good enough,” or “That’s for other people, not you.” They tell you that success, abundance, love, or whatever you’re desiring, isn’t available to you.
Where do these beliefs come from? They often stem from early childhood experiences, societal conditioning, or repeated negative experiences. Over time, they become ingrained in your subconscious, and you start to believe them as the truth.
But let me remind you: Limiting beliefs are not the truth. They are a lie your mind has adopted to keep you in your comfort zone.
The Power of Awareness

The first step in overcoming limiting beliefs is awareness. You can’t change something you aren’t aware of. So take a moment and think about your life. Where do you feel stuck? What areas of your life feel like they’re on repeat? These are often the areas where limiting beliefs are holding you back.
Ask yourself:
💫 What beliefs do I hold about myself in this area?
💫 Where did this belief come from?
💫 Is this belief actually true?
You’ll often find that the beliefs keeping you stuck were never yours to begin with. They were handed to you by a parent, a teacher, a friend, or society at large. But here’s the exciting part: just as easily as they were adopted, they can be released.
How to Break Free from Limiting Beliefs

Once you’ve identified your limiting beliefs, it’s time to break free from them. And trust me, this can be one of the most transformative processes of your life.
💫 Challenge the Belief: Once you identify the limiting belief, question it. Ask yourself, “Is this belief 100% true?” More often than not, you’ll realize that the belief has no solid foundation—it’s based on fear, doubt, or past experiences, not on truth. The moment you challenge a limiting belief, you begin to dissolve its power.
💫 Reframe the Story: This is one of my favorite techniques. Instead of staying stuck in the old story, rewrite it. If your limiting belief is, “I’m not worthy of success,” flip it to, “I am worthy of all the success and abundance I desire.” When you consistently tell yourself a new, empowering story, you begin to shift your subconscious mind.
💫 Use EFT Tapping: Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a game-changer for releasing limiting beliefs. By tapping on specific meridian points while repeating phrases related to the belief you want to release, you clear the emotional charge attached to the belief. This allows you to let go of old stories and reprogram your mind with more empowering thoughts.
💫 Affirmations: Positive affirmations help you rewire your brain and replace the old, limiting beliefs with new, empowering ones. Repeat affirmations like: “I am deserving of love, abundance, and success.” “I have the power to create the life I desire.” “I release all beliefs that no longer serve me.”
💫 Visualization: Your mind responds to imagery. Spend a few minutes each day visualizing yourself living the life you desire—free from limiting beliefs. Picture yourself feeling empowered, confident, and stepping into your full potential. The more vividly you can see it, the more your subconscious mind begins to believe it’s possible.

Limiting beliefs are not just thoughts—they carry energy. When you hold onto a limiting belief, your energy is weighed down by the fear, doubt, and scarcity that the belief creates. This is why breaking free from limiting beliefs can feel like a massive energetic release—because it is!
